After 16 brutal hours on our beloved bus we finally made it to back to San Francisco yesterday afternoon. Our bus’s transmission unfortunately went out again one pit stop away from George’s house, but we are happy to say she is on the mend to bring us back home to LA tomorrow. In the meantime, we are getting ready to play to a sold out crowd at the Fillmore tonight!! So excited!

We were talking about Vidcon and I was like, hey, I know John is a big fan of yours so I was wondering if we could get a picture doing—-and he sort of interrupted me and said “the DFTBA thing?” and then we did this.
Oh Hell Yeah, one of the weirdest things in my life is that Watsky watches vlogbrothers videos. He’s, like, a pretty big fan of us, which is weird because I AM SUCH A MASSIVE WOBBLY WEAK-KNEED FAN OF HIM!
He’s got a new video out which contains one of the sickest full-verse rhymes of all time:
A lot of the chickens in the flock wanna squawk and they get obnoxious
And all I hear is bawk bawk and I’m not gonna wanna talk shop
Better put a sock in it if you gotta cock block and be toxic and knock us
And all we wanna do is rock rock and be raucous

Cause I am a boss hog and I want the top spot and I got thisGuys…that’s 27 rhymes in six lines…without changing the root sound. TWENTY SEVEN! And it’s not like he sacrificed meaning either. It’s all “People are going to talk, they’re going to diss us and they’ll want the whole world to be as boring as they are, but not us, we are going to rock no matter what they think, all the way to the TOP!”
I am just amazed by Watsky…and by language…but mostly by Watsky.
It is indeed a great verse.
